My sister is playing on the keyboard. Her birthday is just over a week away, and her party is a few days after.
My little brother and I put our money together and bought our sister a present today. It's a little odd, but it has significance to the three of us. It's a reminder of something we used to do a lot, but don't have much time for now.
My older brother planned ahead this year, and bought our sister's present in January. The first time he told me, I thought he said July, and I was amazed that anyone would buy a present so far in advance! January is sensible though.
This post seems to be all about my sister! Well, she's the only one I have, and she has a birthday soon. I'd love to say how old she'll be, but instead I'll just say that it is an important birthday.

March 28
Dinner will be served in approximately 2 minutes, so I have to be incredibly fast. Today has been busy. My brother and I had a maths exam, that happened to cover nothing of what we'd been covering for the last few weeks, and only what we covered in January and February. Annoying! I also had other assignments to complete. Dinner is served! Have to go in a sec. My brother had even more than me to do because we'll both be out most of tomorrow, and he'll be gone all of Friday.

February 1
I just wrote January out of habit, but it is actually February. Hard to believe at the moment that it's only the second month of the year. It seems that Christmas most be at least 5 months ago, not 1 and a bit.
My little brother spent the last of his money on ordering us lunch today. Courtesy of him, we had delicious pizza and sides for lunch. Very generous of him to spend the last of his money on our lunch.
At the moment, my little brother is playing a physics game on the computer, Fantastic Contraption 2. It's really fun in the first edition, and though I've never played number 2, it looks like fun. My older brother is giving him advice while also working at his own computer. I can't say for sure where the majority of his attention is.
My sister is at the keyboard, playing Jingle Bells. Any sane person would know that February is waaaaaay too late to be playing Christmas carols.
My sister is jokingly considering keeping a bar of soap in her bag at all times, as an air freshener. I don't really know why, as her bag isn't really used much, and it never smells bad. I think she just likes the smell of the soap. She wants to engrave her initials into one of the bars. She actually did! She just showed it to me, and it actually has her initials on it!

January 31
This is post number 94, so I'm approaching the 100 post line. Awesome! I can't believe I've been blogging that long.
January is almost over, and I have just discovered how much I have to do this year. Not a very pleasant discovery, except for the fact that I have a whole lot of compulsory reading to do, which is very cool! I can't wait for that part, though I'm a little nervous about the rest.
My sister has a lot of Virtual Villagers walking around. Not the same ones as a few days ago, as an alarming number of them died, so we restarted with some new villagers. These ones will hopefully survive better than the last lot.
My brother is attempting a game of chess beside me, but it isn't going well. He keeps getting checkmated. My little brother is just playing outside again. He is definitely the most outdoorsy of our family. He actually really likes being outdoors, with mozzies, guinea pigs squealing, mud squelching, and itchy grass. I'm obviously not a fan. But my brother can find all these imaginary villains, as well a whole lot of men to follow him around and do follow all his orders without question.
Isn't fop such a great word? It doesn't seem like a real word, but it is, and when you say it right, it sounds fantastic! Fop, by definition, means

Happy New Year
Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Now to other news. We got back from our holiday this morning, after spending the night on the train. I didn't get a lot of sleep, but I got enough.
My family is considering having a dog. We don't know what type to get, and I don't really mind. My little brother really wants a dog though. He spent the last few days with one that is 8 years old, and totally wore it out. So he'd like a puppy, or dog, at home, so he can play more with a dog.
Do you ever notice you act differently depending on who you are with? I know someone who acts differently with different people. Sometimes using bad language, sometimes being really nice, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes getting frustrated easily. I don't really like it, but I've gotten used to it.
My mother cleaned up the house while we were on holidays, and now my brothers room is unrecognizable. It's all clean! Stuff that's been missing for months has shown up in their room.
Have a great 2012, and I hope you manage to keep your New Year's resolutions!
