November 29

It's getting closer to Christmas.

I got back from camp on Sunday, and it was great fun, though I got very sunburnt.

I finished John Flanagan's new book The Outcasts today, and it's really good. I can't wait to see what happens next! I've read the first 10 Ranger's Apprentice books, and I think The Outcasts is just as good.

On this day:
1832- Louisa May Alcott was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on her father's birthday. She published over 30 books and collections of stories, but is best known for her book, Little Women, and its sequels, Little Men and Jo's Boys.
2000- The Blue Mountains were listed as a World Heritage Area. It consists of six national parks and four wilderness areas, covering 1 million hectares of sandstone cliffs, deep gorges, rivers, and eucalyptus forests.

My Father had a profound influence on me. He was a lunatic.
Spike Milligan
Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.
